Flourish Therapy, LLC currently accepts the following health insurance plans:

  • Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield (including out-of-state equivalent plans)

How will you determine if my child needs speech therapy services?

If you have a concern regarding your child's communication skills, the first step is to contact a member of our team. Should a speech and language evaluation be recommended, a combination of the following may be utilized to determine if speech therapy is right for your child:

  • Standardized testing

  • Parent/guardian input

  • Recommendation/referral from medical professionals

  • Clinical observation and judgment

How long will my child need speech therapy?

Each child is given an individual plan of care upon the start of services, but it is impossible to predict how long treatment will take. In each and every session, we aim to utilize your child's strengths to maximize progress.

Family participation, and home practice, is a vital part of the treatment process. Children who frequently practice their skills outside of the therapy room often make quicker gains.
